Our studio offers a wide range of art making and all resources are delivered to your table and cleaned before and after use for you to enjoy and experiment with. We have a range of media and techniques to test and hone your skills from painting to decoupage, drawing to printing. There is no right or wrong at the studio, all the work displayed on our gallery walls is either from visitors to the classes, our open studio café or from professional local artists.
We have a wide range of blank pottery to paint and you can choose to paint these with our lovely pottery glaze, to be fired in our kiln or you can simply paint them with acrylics and take home the same day. If sculpting and getting your hands dirty is more your thing then our carefully selected, quality air dry clay is for you. It just needs 24 hours to dry, a quick sand to smooth and a varnish or acrylic to seal. Shaping a big lump of wet clay into something useful or decorative for the home is indescribably therapeutic.
If you can’t get to our classes or you enjoy working from home then we have created a range of different art kits to take away and get you hooked. All the resources we use in the studio can be purchased at our studio shop and we have a beautiful selection of cards, prints and original pieces of art to buy from local artists Caroline Hyde-Brown, James Allen, Bella Bigsby and Astra Taylor-Todd. Our zoom classes will also be continuing over the next few months which can be booked on our book a class page.
Art activities from £7.00 per participant (includes all resources and hot drink).
